Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)


Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) supports individuals to change their habitual negative thoughts and unhelpful behaviours to better manage curretn problems.  This type of therapy is helpful in treating symptoms of anxiety and depression. It t can also help with other mental health conditions. 

As a CBT therapist I will support you to identify and modify your habitual negative thoughts and behaviour patterns to improve your mood.

How does CBT work:

The therapy starts with exploration of current triggers and identifing unhelpful patterns: This type of therapy helps individuals recognize negative or maladaptive ways of thinking.I will support you to learn problem-solving skills and teach you how to identify and solve current problems that arise from current life stressors.

We will be working towars changing unhelpful behaviors as CBT supports individuals to learn how to respond to challenging situations in a more effective ways.

Setting goals collaboratively, we will set meaningful goals for what you would want to change.
